The power of women
Active since 1880, YWCA of Adelaide is the leading voice for young women in South Australia.
YWCA of Adelaide provides advocacy, support, empowerment and leadership opportunities for young women under 30 through services, programs and campaigns.
YWCA of Adelaide's programs and services include one on one and group mentoring, young women’s leadership, advocacy, and health and wellbeing programs.
In April 2009 we launched our policy platform, which identified three priority areas: Violence Against Women and Girls, Self Image and Gender Role Stereotypes. These areas will guide our advocacy and program work for the next three years.
