Inspiring young women
YWCA Queensland was created in 2010 to further strengthen the work of YWCA Brisbane, YWCA Downs & South West Queenland and YWCA Townsville.
The YWCA has been active on young women’s issues and providing programs in Queensland since the 19th Century, with a long history of supporting local communities throughout the state.
YWCA Queensland works to transform the lives of disadvantaged people, though support such as affordable housing and accredited training as well as practical life skills development. YWCA Queensland is also an accredited disability support provider.
Our programs provide support and education, foster lifelong skills and encourage leaders.
Please note: The YWCA Queensland website is still under development and will be available shortly.
