2023 Annual General Meeting

We are delighted to invite members and supporters to attend YWCA Australia’s virtual Annual General Meeting (AGM) to be held at 6:00 PM AEDT on Thursday 16 November 2023 via Zoom.  The AGM will be held in a private environment on Zoom. Those wishing to attend can register via the link below. Registrations close at 5:30 PM AEDT on Tuesday 14 November 2023. Registered attendees will receive a link to access the meeting prior to the AGM.

Director elections

Thank you to Lina Tchung, who will be standing down as Director. There are 6 candidates on the ballot. All are Young Women aged 30 or under and include incumbent Director Khayshie Tilak Ramesh, who is running for re-election. We intend to appoint two Directors. Biographical details of each candidate have been made available for your reference.

Voting

We offer eligible Members the opportunity to vote directly online through the Election Buddy platform. If you have a valid email address on your membership file, you will have received an email with your voting information. If you have not received this email or would like to vote offline, please email Hannah Murray, the Company Secretary, at companysec@ywca.org.au.

The Annual Report and Financial Statements will be available for download on October 16 2023, please check back for updates.

Register

In order to receive the link to attend the AGM via Zoom, attendees will need to register beforehand. Closed captions and live Auslan interpretation will be available for the duration of the AGM. YWCA will make accommodations for those with accessibility requirements.

Questions

Attendees will have the opportunity to ask questions of the Board, Executive and the Auditor at the AGM.  We encourage attendees to submit their questions prior to the meeting by sending them to Hannah Murray, the Company Secretary, at companysec@ywca.org.au.
