Youth Frontiers Volunteers, various locations

YWCA Australia is currently seeking individuals to join our Youth Frontiers Program as Volunteer Youth Mentors. Mentors come from a variety of experiences and backgrounds but should all have a desire to support young people to reach their potential. This role requires a commitment to volunteering one-two hours each week during school hours, over a six month period. The volunteer placement is for a maximum one year period, with the potential to re-new.

Asista Mentoring Volunteers, Victoria

The ASISTA mentoring program encourages personal development, new experiences and opportunities for young women and their mentors through fortnightly social and recreational activities. All mentor volunteers are provided with strong, ongoing support, training and supervision. Mentors are asked to commit to the program for a minimum of 12 months, with a requirement of two-six hours fortnightly face-to-face contact with your mentee. It is also essential to have a drivers licence and access to a car.
