YWCA NT has been supporting women, including Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander and women from a culturally and linguistically diverse background, in the Territory since 1969. We provide local housing, services and support programs that enable women, their families and other priority groups to find stability and feel safe and secure, so they can build the future they want.

ABOUT THIS ROLE

YWCA Australia is currently seeking a dedicated Accommodation Worker to join our Medical Accommodation team in our Darwin location. This role is offered on a casual basis.

The role is responsible for the provision of services to guests in a non-medical accommodation facility for rural and remote people accessing health treatments.

ABOUT YOU

The ideal applicant will have:

  • Ability to operate a computerised reservation system
  • Experience prioritising workloads
  • Ability to work shift work including nights, weekends and public holidays
  • A professional and friendly manner with guests and colleagues
  • Confidence to work solo, or as part of a team

This position will require the applicant to satisfactorily meet our pre-employment requirements.  This includes:

  • Completion of a national criminal history check
  • A valid relevant state-based working with children permit. (Ochre Card)
