KIDS 4 LIFE Supported Playgroups provide age-appropriate activities and opportunities for connection for families in the Northern Rivers region.
Our relationships with our communities are essential. YWCA Australia’s KIDS 4 LIFE Supported Playgroups promote healthy relationships between parents and carers, children, and their communities.
Our Supported Playgroups deliver age-appropriate activities that prioritise child developmental milestones. We offer two general playgroups for all families, and one Goori group for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander families that offers culturally safe and specific activities.
As a Supported Playgroup, we are able to connect you with local support services for financial, legal, counselling, childhood development and other supports. Many local services attend playgroup to support with this – all you need to do is come along!
Our playgroups are comprised of families from all different cultures and backgrounds, and we welcome you and your family – no matter where you and your family are from.
Playgroup times: 10:30 – 12:30 Tuesday and Wednesday (all families) 11:00 – 1:00pm Thursday (Goori group)
A healthy morning tea is provided.
Who can come along? Our playgroups are open to families with children who are 0 to 5 years in Northern Rivers region.
