YWCA owns, manages and operates over 110 homes across Queensland, primarily in Toowoomba and Townsville, with new developments under way. Our housing is a mixture of social (community) housing and affordable housing.
Social (Community) Housing
YWCA is a participating Community Housing Provider in Queensland. To apply for a YWCA property in Queensland, you must be on the housing register in Queensland.
Affordable Housing
We own and operate a number of affordable housing properties in Townsville and Toowoomba. Affordable housing offers discounted rent for those who might struggle in the regular rental market but don’t qualify for social housing. Availability is extremely limited, and when properties are available, they can be found on realestate.com.au
